- Automatic feature recognition recognizes protrusions, cutouts, drafted faces, all types of holes, rounds and chamfers without any user intervention
- Interactive feature recognition commands recognize revolved features in addition to all of the above features and require user input in the form of faces or edges. This allows the user to have complete control over how features are recognized as well as recognize features that could not be recognized automatically

Feature editing commands can be accessed from the shortcut menus on the features to edit the recognized features. For example, extruded features starting on the same plane and having same extent types can be combined into one extruded feature, a hole feature can be converted to a revolved cut-out and vice versa.
Once the body feature is completely parameterized, solid edge features can be generated. The user can then continue to edit the features as though they were created in solid edge. |
