Turning Feature Recognition

This module recognizes axi-symmetric features mainly found on turned parts. The module supports a user defined feature (UDF) library. The library contains specifications of features that are used by the module for recognition. New feature signatures can be added to the library by the application depending upon the needs of the end user. The module can only recognize features that have lines and arcs in the section profile. Splines are not supported as of now. This module does not do any machining specific analysis or operations such as tool path generation for features; this responsibility rests with the application using this module.
